ABOUT US

It all started with an Irishman moving to Sweden. Graham moved to Sweden and met Malena, they fell in love. After a year or so, they started talking about what Graham was missing from home and then the idea for the Irish store was created. 

On a warm summer day in 2018, we started the company, with the intention of bringing Ireland to the Scandinavian market. Initially, the intention was to bring Irish food from the largest and most well known companies, but as time went on, we became more focused on bringing in goods and food from small businesses from Ireland. Over the years, we have received tips on what is popular from Ireland and what we have now focused on is bringing it to the Scandinavian market.

Graham, (from Wicklow, Ireland), silent co-owner of the company moved to Sweden 2012. Grahams favourite product from Ireland is Lyons tea original blend. 

Malena, (from Stockholm, Sweden) co-owner and CEO of the company. Malena is the person who does most of the work within the company. If you have any questions, Malena will answer them in both Swedish and English. Over the years, Malena has found many favourites from Ireland because she tries out everything that comes into the company, but her favourite tea is probably Barry's Tea Caffeine Free Rooibos.
